NESIG’s
commitment to the mature market and those issues that affect older
Americans and their families, is our number one priority!
This commitment to older Americans is being recognized by the ever increasing
number of people we have helped all across New England. Our assistance
in helping our clients select the most appropriate Medicare Supplement,
Long Term Care Insurance, and other senior citizen protection is highlighted
by comprehensive benefits, affordable prices and superior customer support.
Our commitment to the mature insurance market extends to marketing and
sales methods as well.
The following..
CODE OF ETHICS
is intended to clearly state our expectations and values with respect
to agent conduct in this market.
AGENTS REPRESENTING THE NESIG
Represent themselves and the NESIG in
a highly ethical and professional manner.
Be knowledgeable of the issues
impacting the mature and elderly care market, and have a clear understanding
of policy benefits,
provisions and exclusions.
Abide by both the spirit and the letter of all State
insurance regulations and guidelines.
Honestly and fairly determine client suitability on
such factors as need, affordability, and health history.
Avoid any marketing or sales practice that could be
interpreted as deceptive, fraudulent or high pressured.
Exercise caution in all replacement situations, giving
consideration to the quality of existing coverage, implications of new
preexisting and contestable periods, cost and changes in medical history.
We believe that adherence to this Code of Ethics makes
for good business sense, not only for the NESIG, but also the agents
active in this highly visible
and growing market. We require all agents representing the NESIG subscribe
to these standards if they wish to maintain a relationship with our insurance
group.
